This has been bugging me quite a bit... may I ask why a number of people write comments in sub/small fonts? I am quite sure you write a comment to be read by the deviant submitting something for it to be read, right? But it is very uncomfortable to read such small text.

I am not sure if I should be annoyed by it, but it is very taxing to read a comment written in such small text especially when I want to make a quick data collection. I will not say anything against anyone who uses small fonts or subtext to write a comment, but please do not be surprised or offended if I don't read or reply to your comments at all, or not take them into account because I felt like skipping over them with my bad eyesight (I wear glasses to read).

Something around the font size 11 is just nice for me, not too big, not too small, but sub text is too small, and the lines in between are just too wide to be comfortable looking at. I need to squint to read them. These small words are fine in signatures or unrelated parts of the post itself, but I feel that a comment body would be easier to read with bigger fonts. I do not mean to be rude saying this, but sometimes I feel some people post in my deviations for the sake of being seen, having an avatar seen, because I feel that they do not really mean for their comments to be read.

I tolerate it, but having many comments recently with the same style of posting because it seems to have become some kind of fad, I'm beginning to get a little tired of trying to read them - my English isn't so good, and making me squint is quite cruel, especially if there are many words (some people even post two paragraphs of small text @__@; ) - this also applies for Japanese, because small kanji is UNREADABLE. My school teachers said that. I read some papers and felt that way too. Actually, even one sentence with small fonts is bad enough for my head. I don't read it.

You can post that way if you wish. But please do not expect me to read it or respond at all. I am not trying to be rude by not replying, but this is a bit too much for me to handle. If you want your comments to be read and replied to someday (when I actually have more time), kindly write in either English only or Japanese only (preferably not romanized Japanese, please, it is also hard to read), in the normal font size. I had no choice when gathering data, but I have decided to just drop small-font comments from the list and minus the number off. The data will be skewed, but with its number decreased it should be ok too.

I do my best to read comments and reply to them daily - or I do my best to at least read them even when I cannot respond right away. But this new sub font syndrome has been invading lately, and it has caused quite some discomfort to me. So, sorry if I really don't read the comments. I skip over to those that I can read in a shorter time. If it is a note, I will just delete it, because there is no way that I will read something so small anyway... @__@; Replying to it is out of the question... even if it is important, I wouldn't have known anyway (Haruya Irresponsibility Beam).

I am saying this because I don't want anyone to waste their efforts after this... if you are writing something for me to read, please do so in normal fonts. If you are writing something just so everyone can see your avatar here, or maybe your signature or your username, you can post in sub text. (I probably won't look anyway... because there is no point. I don't want to click on it and end up in a gallery with more small text to kill my piggy eyes. ) I mean it. I am indeed quite impatient. If you post in small fonts for a survey here I will in the future just hide it to save scrolling space and move on to the next one. Time is money. It is very precious. I love to economize.

I have, after some thought, decided to choose Allen over Alan. Actually Lucas was under heavy consideration too.
I decided to pick something cute, short and simple to remember, so since Allen is like Alan, I picked it. I also like Woody Allen, a fun cowboy character! Thank you for suggesting!
